We know it’s hard to be 100% environmental friendly, 24/7. But in honour of Earth Day, we have 5 easy ways for you to try and make your life a little greener.  Check it out!

  1. GO MEATLESS FOR A DAY

According to Netflix documentary “Cowspiracy”, it takes about 660 gallons of water to produce 1/4 pound of hamburger meat. Reducing even just one day of eating meat can go a long way in saving resources and helping the environment.

  2. NO RECEIPTS

You know how at restaurants, they ask you if you need a copy of your receipt? Maybe think twice before you say yes. Some restaurants won’t print an extra copy in that case. And though it’s just a small piece of paper, eventually it adds up. Plus, most of the time, it will end up at the bottom of your purse, or in your pant pocket that you’ll end up tossing in the laundry.

  3. E-STATEMENTS/ONLINE BANKING

Switch those paper statements into e-statements, and while you’re at it, see if your bank has a mobile banking app. You’ll be able to check your balances, pay bills, transfer money and deposit cheques right at your fingertips

  4. USE RE-USABLE CONTAINERS

Say good-bye to the tacky tupperware and hello to chic re-usable containers. Our favourite one: Maison Jars as lunch/salad bowls

Add a little green decor to your space, whether it’s a succulent, an indoor tree, a fern, the possibilities are endless. If you want to stay in with the trends, we got you covered with our DIY terrarium
