It’s nearing the end of the first month of this new year, and we all know what that means… Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. As many of us associate February with this romantic (or is it romanticized?) day, we wanted to get a head start and give you guys a few woo-worthy ideas. To start us off, Chef Amy has come up with this easy to make and deliciously refreshing lychee & rosewater sparkler. Drink it on its own or pair it with a romantic meal, those floating rose petals will be sure to convey your romantic intentions.

Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredient shot of rose water sparklers including lychees, lychee juice & sparkling water

  • 3 cups sparkling water
  • 2 cups lychee juice
  • 3-4 tsp rosewater (depending on taste)
  • 1 Tbsp cherry or pomegranate juice
  • fresh berries and rose petals for garnish

There’s really just one step…

Finished lychee rosewater sparklers with strawberry garnish

Mix all the ingredients together in a large pitcher, and garnish with berries and rose petals. If it’s hard to find boxed lychee juice at your local supermarket, you can use the juice from canned lychees packed in syrup instead.

Serve it chilled to your sweetheart… or hoard it all for yourself to sip slowly while enjoying a night in with your favourite TV show 😉

This recipe is part of a Valentine’s series developed as a collaboration with Clear Life Magazine.
